Since 2021, Soul Recipe Records has been building a family of like-minded artists from different backgrounds. What started as a friendship between Niko Salado, Abbot Jackson, Darwin Pemberthy, Swizzy and Red Amandala turned into a common goal and dream.

Niko Salado, of Dominican descent resides in Dorchester and is a fashion designer, graphic artist and co-owner of the label. He and Jackson handle the  business/managerial duties for the team.

Abbot Jackson, adopted by Niko and his family, is a painter, producer and the other co-owner of the label. . Darwin Pemberthy of Columbian descent resides in East Boston and is the labels main photographer/videographer. He can be credited for bringing the starting 5 together and because of him,connections were made that ultimately made Soul Recipe Records possible.

Swizzy, a true Roxbury native with  smooth talking life lessons aims to paint a relatable vivid picture for the inner city listener. He might come at you with the arrogance of a successful entrepreneur but he is a down to earth ladies man and a voice for the unspoken for. Red Amandala, a deeply introspective and whole hearted MC who captures the attention of every room with his dense and intricate wordplay is often in his head about being on the right path, becoming a better rapper and ultimately a better man.

These 5 friends saw how each of their personal skillsets complimented each other and decided to work on something larger than themselves. They wanted Soul Recipe Records to be a destination for artists and listeners who are constantly trying to be better people.
